[description] => La formación de los estudiantes se centra en la formación de especialistas en el campo del diseño, diagnóstico, optimización de productos elaborados en la base a nanoestructuras, así como procesos tecnológicos de su fabricación. Desarrollan nuevos materiales y recubrimientos, estudian las propiedades de los existentes; desarrollan microcircuitos integrados y dispositivos semiconductores; diseñan nudos de dispositivos electrónicos para tecnología de nanosistemas y microelectrónica, dispositivos fotónicos, complejos láser, complejos robóticos, y también desarrollan procesos tecnológicos para su fabricación; diseñan nanorobots y nanosensores.
La nanotecnología está presente en todas las esferas de la actividad humana: fabricación de instrumentos, ingeniería mecánica, tecnologías espaciales, industria alimentaria, medicina, productos farmacéuticos, construcción, agricultura, biología, electrónica, ecología, construcción, construcción de automóviles y aeronaves. Las prácticas educativas y el trabajo de investigación de los estudiantes se llevan a cabo en los laboratorios educativos y de investigación del departamento equipados con equipos y software modernos, así como en la base de medición experimental y tecnológica de los centros de investigación en el campo de la nanoindustria y en las empresas industriales.
