Ha sido condecorado con una medalla conmemorativa que lleva el nombre del Profesor Titular A.N. Kost. Se otorga por la Fundación Caritativa de “Asociación Internacional”, la MGU (la Universidad Estatal de Moscú) y la Sociedad Química de toda Rusia que lleva el nombre de D.I. Mendeleev.

Docencia

Imparte un curso general sobre los “Métodos experimentales de investigación en la química orgánica”. 

Ciencia

  • Bajo la dirección del Profesor Titular, se descubrió una nueva reacción: la reacción de expansión tándem de azaheterociclos condensados de cinco, seis y siete miembros bajo la influencia de alquinos activados, lo que permitió crear los métodos originales para sintetizar los heterociclos anteriormente desconocidos, entre los cuales fue hallada una nueva clase de inhibidores de acetilcolinesterasa. Pueden servir de base para la búsqueda de fármacos contra la enfermedad de Alzheimer.
  • Las investigaciones realizadas bajo la dirección de Aleksey Varlamov han sido apoyadas en reiteradas ocasiones por subvenciones de la RFFI (la Fundación Rusa para las Investigaciones Básicas). Los resultados originales obtenidos se publican en revistas extranjeras y rusas de alto nivel. Se han publicado unos 350 artículos científicos, entre ellos 220 artículos y 25 certificados de derechos de autor y patentes.
  • Ha sido galardonado con el Distintivo de Oro de “Laureado” por el arte en la síntesis orgánica de heterociclos, establecido por la Fundación Caritativa de “Asociación Internacional” y la Fundación Internacional de “Patrimonio Cultural”.
  • El estudio de la reacción abierta de expansión de las tetrahidropiridinas y tetrahidroazepinas bajo la acción de acetilenos activados, el desarrollo sobre su base de los métodos preparativos para la síntesis de azocinas y azoninas condensadas.
  • El desarrollo de enfoques sintéticos para la síntesis de isoindoles condensados con un heterociclo que contiene nitrógeno, basado en homoalilaminas y heterociclos que contienen nitrógeno sustituidos en α-furilo.
  • La búsqueda de compuestos biológicamente activos.
  • Es miembro del Consejo de Expertos en Química de la RFFI; es miembro de tres consejos especializados para la defensa de las tesis de candidato y doctorales; es miembro del Consejo de Redacción de la Revista de “Noticias de la Academia de Ciencias. La Serie Química”.

  • La síntesis, la estereoquímica y la reactividad de los compuestos heterocíclicos que contienen nitrógeno; los compuestos biológicamente activos.
  • El estudio de la reacción abierta de expansión de las  tetrahidropiridinas y tetrahidroazepinas bajo la acción de acetilenos activados, el desarrollo sobre su base de los métodos preparativos para la síntesis de azocinas y azoninas condensadas.

Реакция легкодоступных (3-фурил)аллиламинов с малеиновым ангидридом с последующей домино-последовательностью, включающей стадии ацилирования/ циклоприсоединения/протонного сдвига, привела к образованию фуроизоиндолов - аза-аналогов типичных сесквитерпенов. Ключевая внутримолекулярная реакция Дильса-Альдера винилфурана (IMDAV) протекала в мягких условиях с высоким уровнем диастереоселективности и удовлетворительными выходами.
